Germany eases travel restrictions for visitors entering from the U.K.
Boris Johnson and Angela Merkel met yesterday and now based on their discussion, Germany has eased travel restrictions for visitors entering from the U.K. Now travelers will be able to avoid quarantine if they are vaccinated, and can shorten their isolation time if they provide a negative COVID test after five days.
Qatar Airways slowly climbs out of the pandemic
Qatar Airways is slowly climbing out of the pandemic and now the Doha-based airline is convinced that its partnerships and alliances will help with its recovery. These partnerships are particularly with airlines in areas of the world that are further along in their post-pandemic recovery. For example, the airlines recently announced deeper relationships with JetBlue, American, and Alaska in the U.S.
Canada eased restrictions for international passengers
Canada has now eased restrictions for international passengers. Fully vaccinated travelers allowed to enter Canada may be exempt from federal quarantine.
TUI cancels more holidays up to the end of July
Holiday giant TUI has canceled more holidays up to the end of July because of the ongoing uncertainty around travel. The cancellations are a part of its ongoing review of its holiday program that is in line with the Government updates every three weeks. So holidays that are being canceled up to the end of July are to countries including Greece, Cyprus, Spain and Turkey, Mexico, Florida, and Egypt.
