Canada to assist Olympic athletes & staff with costs of pandemic travel restrictions
The federal government has announced that it will offer exemptions from some of the quarantine-related travel restrictions to 750 Olympic and Paralympic athletes, along with members of their support staff, in the lead-up to the Olympics.

Longwoods latest research shows that 81 percent of Americans plan to travel in the next six months which is the highest stat since the beginning of the pandemic last March.
UKs health secretary says covid rule-breakers could face 10 years in jail
The UK has announced people arriving from red-listed countries need to quarantine in a hotel for 10 days and then do a Covid-19 test. If these rules were to be broken, or if a person was to lie about where they were arriving from they could face 10 years in prison.
Spanish government extends travel restrictions
Only people who hold official residency in Spain are allowed to enter when arriving from the UK, South Africa and Brazil.
