Air Canada asks the Canadian government to remove hotel quarantines
Air Canada has asked the Canadian government to remove hotel quarantines and rather have a more modified approach to testing and quarantine that would keep Canadians safe while opening doors for international travel. This is because Air Canada suffered a loss of $1.3 billion dollars in Q1 and is in hopes that this measure will improve international travel as the current hotel quarantines have become ineffective.
France is set to use the traffic light system by the end of May
After the U.K adopted the traffic light system to facilitate easy travel from the country, France is also set to use this system by the end of May.
