PATA predicts full recovery may take three years

The Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) has predicted that the time to fully recover may take up to three years before visitor numbers are back to normal. 

Singapore Airline Offers Free Covid-19 Tests to travellers

All passengers flying with Singapore Airlines departing from Singapore or Indonesia will now be able to book pre-departure RT-PCR and serology tests in cooperation with Collinson.

The Dominican Republic offers free Covid-19 tests

To strengthen its measures, the ministry of health has decided to donate 400,000 free antigen tests to international travelers staying at hotels in the Dominican Republic. The offer will be available until the 31st of March. 

IATA calls governments to reopen their borders

The director-general of IATA has called for governments to reopen their borders to support international aviation. Claiming it is impossible to have a zero-Covid world and a more balanced public policy approach is needed.
