Germany issues 5 million vaccination passports
Germany has now issued around 5 Million vaccination passports. This digital vaccination passport will allow users to download their COVID - 19 vaccination status on their smartphone app.
Business travel is still in lockdown
With the easing of travel restrictions, there has been an increase in non-essential travel. However, Business travel is still in lockdown. This is because of the lingering COVID restrictions and the use of the patchwork approach. This will prevent the business travel segment from easing until 2024. For example, spending on travel for large, in-person professional meetings and events in the US fell by 76% last year, resulting in a $97 billion loss in spending.
