 Italy and Austria joins the list of countries to ban the AstraZeneca shots

Last week patients have started to develop symptoms of blood clotting after being vaccinated with AstraZeneca COVID 19. Due to this, Italy and Austria have also joined the list of countries to have banned the AstraZeneca shots. Thailand and Bulgaria said they would delay its rollout. However, WHO has confirmed that there is no causal link between the jab and the clotting. A range of health authorities including the European Medicines Agency have also insisted it is safe. 

AstraZeneca is not doing enough to meet its delivery targets

On the flip side, AstraZeneca is not doing enough to meet its delivery targets. The European Commission on behalf of 27 states is negotiating contacts as they are concerned that the pharmaceutical firm is having supply issues. 

Germany lifts travel warnings to most of Spain

On a very happy note, Germany has lifted its travel warnings to most of the places in Spain and Portugal. Mallorca and other Balearic islands of Menorca, Ibiza, and Formentera have shown signs of reduced infections. Therefore, it will no longer be considered a risk area. 

Fun Travel Fact: Australia has over 10,000 beaches. So, technically you could visit a new beach everyday for over 27 years.
