Japan to announce a ban on foreign visitors

Japan is staging the Olympics this summer but they have announced that there is going to be a ban on foreign visitors. This is due to the concerns over Covid-19. Officials are a bit worried about this because Japan has worked really hard for years to boost its international tourism. This is going to be confirmed by the end of March.

Greece welcomes American travelers

Greece is welcoming travelers from the USA and other countries in Europe are soon to follow. However, this is only possible if travelers present a negative covid-19 test or are vaccinated against the virus. 

Travelers plan to spend more money on a trip in 2021

According to a study conducted by American Express Travel, 61% of survey respondents plan to spend more money than they normally would on a trip in 2021. This is to make up for the travel that they could not do in 2020.
