India launches new campaign to revive domestic travel

The Indian government has launched a new campaign called Dekho Apna Desh (‘See Your Country’), whereby Indians that travel to all 15 destinations by the end of 2022 can win a prize.

Asia-Pacific authorities to defer travel until 2022

Governments are discussing whether a revival of the tourism industry should be put on pause until 2022 amid the recurring outbreaks of Coronavirus. For now, cities such as Bangkok are tightening travel rules once again. 

Greece and Israel agree on new tourism partnership

Both countries have signed an agreement in Jerusalem with the hopes to rebuild tourism after it has been hit hard by the effects of COVID-19. 

New Corona variants halting bounce back of tourism industry

Most countries were hoping for an early 2021 bounce back but as the new variants are resistant against the vaccines it seems like hope is dwindling fast with governments telling their people not to go traveling or book any trips for the foreseeable future.
