Certain counties in Europe are starting to ease their lockdown restrictions. We thought we could run you through some important changes. For example, in the Netherlands restaurants have been reopened. However, it is only allowed to be open until 6 p.m.

Italy reopens restaurants

In Italy, too, restaurants can generally reopen. But, if you want to travel to the country, you have to be in quarantine, apart from certain exceptions. On the other hand, people who travel to Spain, Bulgaria, or Greece from Germany, for example, do not necessarily have to be in quarantine there at the moment. Tourist overnight stays are currently allowed in most EU countries anyway, only a few countries such as Germany, Ireland, or Austria regulate this differently.

The European Commission approves support measure of €462 million

The European Commission has approved a support measure of €462 million for the Portuguese Air Transport (TAP) in order to compensate the airline for the damage it suffered due to the COVID-19 outbreak

The Dominican Republic eases Covid-19 restrictions

The Dominican Republic has eased Covid-19 restrictions to facilitate travel. So, travelers do not have to be vaccinated against COVID-19 to be permitted entry, nor do they have to provide a negative PCR test upon arrival or undergo quarantine. Rather,  airports and other ports of entry will now perform a breath test.
