Airline and travel companies shares have risen

Airline and travel companies' shares have risen as the U.K is planning to allow fully vaccinated holidaymakers to visit amber list countries without having to quarantine themselves upon return. Earlier, travelers must be quarantined for 10 days and have a total of three Covid tests when returning from countries including all major European holiday destinations. The market value of Europe’s biggest travel firm, Tui, increased by 3.3%. 

Germany is calling for travel restrictions to be tightened in advance

Despite falling coronavirus incidence rates in Germany, the federal states are calling for travel restrictions to be tightened in advance of the summer holidays. The ministers are anxious to prevent the Delta coronavirus variant from spreading widely in Germany.
