Usually China sees a massive increase in trips being booked around the Chinese New Year. However, this year due to the pandemic figures looked a lot different with numbers being down by 69% compared to the last year.
Australia’s Qantas plans for flight resume in October
The airline announced it wants to resume international flights this October. It had pretty much completely halted all flights due to Corona.
Airlines offer special deals for lockdown end
Airlines such as Jet2 have announced special deals e.g. 110 Pounds off your next flight to try and catch as many travelers as possible once lockdown is eased in the UK.
Coalition of businesses say no to domestic travel ban
A coalition made up of a million businesses has said that a domestic travel ban within India would destroy them if it was to be put in place. The government will discuss whether it will still go ahead or not.
