U.S Airports are now facing travel chaos

U.S Airports are now facing travel chaos and a high volume of travelers amid worker shortages and flight cuts. The transportation and security administration in the U.S screened more than 4.1 million passengers last weekend making it the busiest since March last year and an estimated 400,000 airport workers were fired because of the pandemic. So, it has been predicted that air travel could take until the end of 2023 to fully recover. 

The air bubble between Australia and New Zealand is put on hold

The air bubble which was set in place between Australia and New Zealand has now been put on hold. However, it is to resume shortly but with the exception of including New South Wales where the cases are the highest. 

Austria, Switzerland, Malta, and Netherlands open for travelers

Cities in Austria (Salzburg, Vienna, and Graz), Switzerland, Islands of Malta, and the Netherlands are now open for travelers this month. 

Germany closes its borders for travelers from Russia and Portugal

Germany has now closed its borders for travelers from Russia and Portugal because of Delta Variant being highly prevalent in these countries. Only citizens and residents of Germany will be allowed in from the two countries. Air, rail, and bus companies are prohibited from transporting other passengers from these places.
