Low-cost carrier EasyJet has announced that they expect to fly no more than 20 per cent of planned capacity over the next three months. This is due to stricter measures being introduced in France, Germany and the UK to reduce the growing numbers of Covid-19 infections.

The measures taken during Greece’s lockdown have once again been tightened. People are now only allowed to leave their homes once they have submitted an application by SMS and receive a confirmation for the application by SMS.

Long-distance travels to the Seychelles, Barbados, Mauritius and Tahiti are still possible due to no travel warnings for these exotic destinations.

9. November 2020

Today is the first day of the virtual World Travel Market, where tourism professionals from around the world meet. The event takes place in London for the first time. The virtual event lasts 3 days and hosts the international tourism community. Also part of the event is the Travel Forward Virtual and the International Tourism & Investment Conference (ITIC)

10. November 2020

Hungary is introducing a lockdown, which will include a curfew from 8 pm to 5 am and closures of restaurants, theaters, museums, leisure facilities and swimming pools. Hotel accomodation is only permitted for business travels.

11.November 2020

In Portugal, 121 municipalities including Porto and Lisbon are going to be tightening their corona measures up until November 23rd at least. On weekdays there is a curfew from 11 pm – 5 am, and on weekends from 2 pm – 5 am.

12. November 2020
