Travelers traveling to England are expected to quarantine in a hotel for up to 10 days due to the spread of new Covid variants. Due to this, the WTTC has announced that this will be a “complete collapse of tourism as we know it”.

The luxury travel market is to see a big rebound in the Middle East revealed from the latest data by YouGov. 46% of luxury travelers living in the Middle East are planning to travel at some stage in the year 2021. 

New wave of cancellations

The Carnival Cruise Line has announced that the cruise line will not be returning until November, canceling all summer trips. 

CAA extends credit note protection

The CAA will be extending its ATOL credit note protection up until the end of March. Travelers who have had their package holiday bookings canceled will be able to accept a refund credit note or a cash refund.
