Portugal faces travel restrictions
Last week, Portugal had been facing a lot of travel restrictions. However, now non-essential travelers from the U.S can enter Portugal so long as they can submit a negative Covid-19 test taken within 72 hours of travel.

Also, with Expo 2020 set to start in October, there are hopes for a recovery in the tourism sector over the coming months.
Quarantine-free travel to Phuket
Tourism Board in Thailand aims to allow quarantine-free travel to Phuket which is its prime destination. This is for the first time in more than a year but provided visitors are vaccinated against COVID-19 and that they aren’t coming from high-risk countries. This is after a success in Phuket Sandbox which is a measure taken by the government to vaccinate 100% of the island’s residents first. Currently, it stands at about 60% which is still higher than the entire nation.
