Cruise operators have been battered financially

Cruise operators have been battered financially because of the pandemic and their resort is to sell shares that will help them stay in business. Carnival Corporation is a British-American cruise operator, currently the world's largest travel leisure company, with a combined fleet of over 100 vessels across 10 cruise line brands. They have now announced that they will be selling shares worth $500 Million. However, shares of Carnival and its peers - Royal Caribbean Group and Norwegian Cruise Holdings Ltd were down about 2% each.

 

Incidents of unruly flyers have increased

Incidents of unruly flyers have increased in recent times. So Airlines have come together to ask the justice department to prosecute unruly passengers with criminal charges and prison time.

South Korea is looking to open up its economy for travel by creating a travel bubble program. They are planning towards herd immunity given the success in both infection control and vaccination.
