  • Canggu is a famous hotspot for co-workers and digital nomads on the island and it's not for nothing that the small town made it to our list of top 5 cities for co-working. The area around Canggu holds a unique balance between tourism and tradition. Here, you can unwind after a stressful day of surfing or enjoy a cocktail on the beach.
  • Ubud is the spiritual center of Bali. Here you come to rest and relax. Ubud is perfect if you are tired of the chaos of Canggu and want to really relax after work. Ubud is the perfect setting for yoga enthusiasts. What better way to relax than to work and continue to unwind after work.
  • Amed itself has no village center or city center. Here you will find scattered houses and villas on the coast. The coast invites you to snorkel and dive on weekends and the beaches are a dream here. The place is not too crowded and overrun by tourists, so you can relax here as a CoWorker.

Bali is a good place for digital nomads who are just starting out. You will not pay more than 1000€ per month for living expenses here. The quality of life in Bali is extremely high and visitors and co-workers can enjoy their life to the fullest. The only thing that is not perfect in Bali is the internet connection. In many of the small towns, the connection keeps dropping during the day, but if you equip yourself with a mobile small router and a local SIM card, then nothing will get in the way of working on the beach. Here are other essentials that should definitely not be forgotten on your co-working trip.
The high season in Bali is between June and August, during this time it hardly rains at all and many families travel to the island to relax in resorts and hotels. During this time, renting villas or houses is also much more expensive. The low season starts in mid-September and ends in May, when more tourists visit the island again. During this time it rains a little more on Bali, but weekend excursions are much more relaxed.

Bali is famous for its temples, various water sports you can try, yoga and its beaches. These are our highlights in Bali:

  • Take a dive or go snorkeling. The underwater world around Bali has a lot to offer, you can splash with manta rays and turtles and be enchanted by a unique biotope.
  • Visits a black sand beach. Since Bali is of volcanic origin, the island also has natural black beaches to offer.  Along the east coast, from Padang Bai in the south to Lovina in the north, there is an incredibly beautiful black beach.
  • Visit at least one of the countless temples on the island and experience the spirituality of the locals. Many locals are happy to share their culture with strangers and will also tell you some stories.
  • Try Street Food. As is common in many Asian cultures, Bali has a vibrant street food culture, with all sorts of Indonesian delicacies for you to sample.
  • Visit the Tegallalang Rice Terraces. When you think of Bali, besides beautiful beaches, you think of rice terraces and lush green forests. So don't miss this sight in the heart of the island. In the area around the rice terraces there are also beautiful local guesthouses that focus on sustainability and the careful treatment of nature.
