Currently, only two travel bubbles are implemented in Australia
Currently, there are only two travel bubbles implemented in Australia. One between Australia and New Zealand and the other between the Cook Islands and New Zealand. But now they are currently planning to expand the travel bubble covering smaller Pacific island countries. They are planning this because staying closed keeps locals safe, but opening up keeps locals working and pumps much-needed cash into the local economy.
EU digital Covid certificates have gone live
The EU Digital COVID certificates have gone live a month ahead of their schedule only for 7 member states. They are Bulgaria, Czechia, Denmark, Germany, Greece, Croatia, and Poland.
American Airlines adds a new self-administered Covid-19 test option
American Airlines has added a new self-administered Covid-19 test option for travelers returning to the United States on international flights. They are making Home Test available via a partnership with telehealth. Travelers can buy the tests either through an online portal or at select pharmacies, take the tests with them when traveling and administer them within 72 hours prior to travel home.
